was raised in Colorado but has called Portland, Oregon, her home since 1990. She is the poetry editor for the online journal Hyperlexia: poetry and prose about the autism spectrum (http://hyperlexiajournal.com/) and works at Reed College. I was born many years ago in a small town high in the mountains of the Himalayas, and I have lived my adult life in a small town high in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. The many years in between then and now have been filled with beauty and the attempt to capture the wonder of all aspects of life in the wonder of words.

is a PhD student in 20th-century North American Poetry and Poetics at SUNY-Albany. Her work has been published in such journals as Crazyhorse, Copper Nickel, Able Muse, and Measure, among others. She is also a co-editor of the online literary journal Barzakh.
