FROM THE EDITOR The Heart of Every Magazine is its Writing Ever notice how the Editor’s Notes of every magazine are the most boring reads of the entire issue? I mean, really, who reads that stuff, anyway? I’m going to spare you the verbiage and cut straight to what you need to know. What is Sims Creative Magazine? Well, according to our Facebook description, we’re:
“... A Sims fan magazine dedicated to spotlighting Simmers and their creations in a fun and professional manner. Released monthly.” Sounds about right to me. We do our best to showcase your creative work in ways that normally can’t be done on a hackneyed Wordpress blog, or on the Exchange with their tiny thumbnail images that people often overlook. And how exactly do we do that? We do that, not only with our graphic designing skills, but with our WRITING, as well! That caught you off guard, didn’t it? I like to believe that the heart of every magazine isn’t its ostentatious graphics and images, but in its writing — Sims fan magazines should be no exception. Although, I’d like for you to read this issue from cover to cover, I understand that people like to deviate from the over-beaten path and choose to read in the order that they’re most comfortable with. Fair enough! May I make a suggestion on where to start? If you’re a bit dubious about our magazine’s writing, trying starting off with our short reads, “Modded Up: Smoking Mod,” which is ironically the last feature of this section, and our own personal review of Sunlit Tides in “World Review: Sunlit Tides,” located somewhere smack dab in the middle. I think I’m done wasting your time. So much for my promise of sparing the verbiage! Hope you enjoy this issue!
