Watercolor in Action

Instructor: Melissa Adkison No wishy-washy watercolors here! Learn to paint intense, glowing colors instead of ‘muddy’ washed-out ones. In this class, students will learn how to mix colors that are clean and vibrant, both on the palette and wet-in-wet techniques. This comprehensive class caters to the beginner as well as the advanced watercolorist. Beginners will work on the basic techniques: wet-in-wet, mixing color, washes, and just familiarizing themselves with the paint. Advanced students will work from Studio Still Life. Students are encouraged to work with their own projects and consult with the instructor. Bring whatever watercolor supplies you may have to the first class. Materials will be discussed in class and you are expected to purchase your own. A supply list will be provided at registration. 6 weeks Day Tu Tu Tu
