Holiday Child Care
School Aged Child Care Novato Parks, Recreation & Community Services offers a before and after school licensed child care program at Lu Sutton School. The program is designed to provide a well-rounded recreation program for children attending Lu Sutton School, kindergarten through fifth grade. The program operates Monday through Friday from 6:30AM to 6:30PM. Special all day programs are provided on Teacher Work Days and certain holidays and vacation periods. Activities include active games, sports, gardening, sewing, cooking, indoor games, homework time and special events. Registration is limited. Open to children from any school! Spend your days off from school with the great staff of Lu Sutton Child Care. Activities in this action-packed program range from field trips, special events, daily active games, physical fitness challenges, healthy cooking projects, gardening with emphasis on good nutrition habits, guest speakers, and more. Call (415) 897-1574 for availability and information on scheduled daily events. $40 per day. Extra fees may be required on field trip days.

November 19-21, January 2-4, and February 15, 2013 Highlights: Casino Day, Trip to Rowland Theaters, Special Holiday Crafts and Cooking Activites, Gameboy/Walkman Day, and Big Boardgames Day.
Lu Sutton is closed on the following days: Thurs. & Fri., November 22 & 23, 2012 Thanksgiving Holiday Dec. 24-Jan.1, 2013 Winter Break Mon., Jan. 21, 2013 Martin Luther King Jr. Day Mon., Feb. 18, 2013 Presidents’ Day Mon., May 27, 2013 Memorial Day Fri., Jun 14, 2013 Staff In-Service Day Lu Sutton Child Care will remain open on Lu Sutton Staff development/teacher work days and most non-school days, provided that we meet the minimum registration requirement of 10 children.
Mid Winter Break February 19-22
Highlights: Insect Discovery Lab, Trip to Rowland Theaters, Make Your Own Pizza Lunch, Foosball/Shuffleboard Tournaments, Trip to the Downtown Recreation Center, Finger Football Tournament, and a Wii Tournament. Note: Please bring a lunch each day. Field trips are subject to change.
Spring Break April 8-12
Highlights: Trip to Pioneer Park, Softball & T-Ball Games, Make Ice Cream, Plant a Garden Day, Easter Egg Hunt, and Special BBQ Hot Dogs/Chicken Lunch. Note: Please bring a lunch each day. Field trips are subject to change.
