To capture the soul of Odsal Stadium we’re asking everyone to dig deep to find their own “movies” as part of our Odsal, Camera, Action! appeal and to share their memories and memorabilia with us.
Whether it’s old 16mm or 8mm film reels taken years ago, programmes, badges, photos, or souvenirs hidden away in attics, cellars and sheds, or simply your personal memories, it’s all part of Odsal’s vibrant past; a rich history that we want to unlock and share. The Yorkshire Film Archive will be showing material on the big screen at Odsal in the 2011 season, so if you have any films, please let us know. Yorkshire Film Archive have archivists who can advise on care and preservation of the films, as well as transferring them onto new formats. Bradford Bulls Foundation’s Past Times project needs your memories of events at Odsal whether it’s rugby, speedway, stockcars, equestrian, festivals of sport, girl guide jamborees, trotting, dog shows, or when the Harlem Globetrotters visited Bradford or any number of the plethora of activities that have made Odsal world famous.
