Welcome! This year’s Orientation theme is BRANCHING OUT and we encourage you to embrace that theme as much as you can year to come. Branch out by trying new classes, meeting new people, exploring Boston, and stepping outside of your comfort zone. We encourage you to get the most out of this week as you can. Extend your roots and get settled in before classes start. Branch outside of your comfort zone by sharing ideas in FACES and other sessions. Branch further out as you explore Boston. We are so excited that you are here, and we look forward to your participation in all aspects of Orientation. The Office of Student Leadership & Activities and the Orientation Leaders are ready to assist you, so please do not hesitate to ask questions if you need help. Orientation will be one of your first memories of Simmons, and we are committed to making it one of your fondest, too! Please note: During Fall Orientation, there are some sessions that are mandatory and others that are optional but encouraged. For your convenience, the mandatory sessions are enclosed in a box like this.
