Re: Candidate and Authorisation List of Substances of Very High Concern for Authorisation (SVHC), Annex XV and XlV
Dear customer, In the framework of the authorisation process, Member States Competent Authorities or the ECHA, on a request by the Commission, may prepare Annex XV dossiers for the identification of substances of very high concern. The outcome of this identification procedure is a list of substances ("the Candidate List"), which are candidates for eventual inclusion in the List of Substances Subject to Authorisation (Annex XIV of REACH). We confirm that we do not intentionally add in our manufacturing process for RAMAPET PET substances listed in Annex XV (the Candidate List) and Annex XIV of the REACH regulation (so called substances of very high concern, SVHC) or that our polymers do contain these in concentration amounts above 0,1 weight %. We would like to point out that Annex XV and XIV are dynamic lists which will be updated through ECHA and that a newer version in future or inclusion of other CMR compounds into the SVHC list may occur. As we will keep track of new published candidate lists we also recommend to our customers to periodically verify if the article (so virgin polymer and all other additives that are being used in the injection moulding or extrusion process) still meets the current version of Annex XV and XIV list and hence the criteria of REACH.
