The ‘G’ looks a little bit unsteady in comparison to the solid structure of Helvetica, like it is ready to topple forward.

The ‘k’ has an even form and a delicate and digital aesthetic, the pin point of contact between the leg and the ascender is a way of identifying Thonburi.

A distinctive feature of Thonburi is the ligature present when ‘f ’ and ‘i’ are paired. This feature makes obvious the functionality and influence of the Bauhaus with straight, clear lines however this ligature is not present in Helvetica.

Thonburi is very similar to Helvetica with a more elongated form. It comes with only two weights of regular and bold. Much like Helvetica, Thonburi works very well with a tighter kerning, left aligned and bold.
