EN ATTENDANT Q UE LES VERS NOUS BOUFFENT (While waiting for the wor ms to eat us up) When we visit our grand mother, we don’t necessarily know what to say. First minutes are usually awkward, with everyone feeling a little bit confused, as if we were strangers to each other. I’m not that much of a family guy and I seldom visit people, yet that day I went with a friend to her own grand-mother She too forgets to visit her family, even if she thinks a lot about them, as me, as a lot of people, probably. We grow up, time flies, people fade away and vanish. Wrinkles remind us that nothing lasts forever, especially our parents, especially us. So we sit, and look at those objects that never change apart from becoming dustier. We take a look at trivial stuffs. And as the afternoon goes on, we feel less anxious, our gestures are less clumsy and our speech more fluid. Then we drink a coffee, and we notice that the empty chair looking at us is not that empty, that in fact, an empty chair

like that is almost animate, that it exists. And that chair takes us back to our lonely grand mothers, to our lonely grand fathers. The afternoon is going on and as planned at the point when words become dull dice take over, and as parties are won smiles are shared. We tax a break, eat something. She says, “Eat it up before worms eat us up”, so we eat. We’re looking at each other, the ceiling light illuminating us. Curtains are spying on us and flowers are watching as well. We’re taking the time to have a smoke, the time to pay attention, to listen to the scene, and we realize we will have to go. So, we leave ran and we go downstairs. Loneliness on the contrary is here to stay. She’s staying there, sitting next to the pot of coffee and the dice.

LES PÉRÉGRINATIONS DE MR PANURGE My name is Vanessa alias Lova Photo. This is my series “Les Pérégrinations de Mr Panurge” made in France. It’s been a while that I wanted to implement it. After what I saw around me, in our society, I went ahead and did it. I wish, through this series, to demonstrate that we are acting every day in our lives is the same way as all our fellow citizens. We live, we work, we think and act as required by the Society and Others. We no longer think by ourselves. We certainly do not want to be borderline. We want, in spite of ourselves, to be

like the others, for fear of being pointed at. We even forget who we really are. This is the Society that dictates our choices, our way of being and thinking. We especially do not want to be different, borderline, for fear of offending and being put aside! Mr. Panurge shows us picture after picture an ordinary everyday life. The last image leaves us in hope of being able to go against everything, forget everything, leave everything behind to FINALLY be one’s self. I have chosen. And you?

BIOGRAPHY I am an Autodidact photographer and an urban poet. I believe that it doesnt matter what kind of camera you uses, cameras are like pens for writers. I love observing people. Every city its a work of art. I think that photography it’s a self portrait of ourselves and our desires. Street photography rely on always be eager, unfilled and unsatisfaid.

57

LISBOA Lisboa is a happy song sung with a broken voice, is light and melancholy. It’s an splendid city that always emerges from their own ashes. It’s a city that always lives between the sadness of their music and the happiness in which people enjoy the songs.

And Pessoa, Pessoa is the city, Pessoa is Lisboa, and all of us who have read Pessoa are in a way Lisboa. Lisboa is not a city to be consumed its something intangible, poems, moments of happiness, sea breezes, sadness, just simple things. Lisboa is an unforgettable pleasure.

Lisboa is a city of free souls. A city plenty of pragmatic, melancholic and beautiful adventurous people.

BIOGRAPHY My name is Roberto Egea and i am a 27 years old conceptual and creative photographer based on Asturias (Spain). I am a technical engineer, but I dedicate my extra time to take photos. I started in photography like a hobby two years ago, but eventually it began to turn into a passion. I usually practice all kind of photographic styles (Street photography, portraits, landscapes…) but my favorite one is a mixt between conceptual & creative photography, who allow me to think the ideas, creates the scenes and finally take the photos and edit them. I try to see the things in a different view and play with “everyday” objects around me in a creative way. My biggest source of inspiration was Chema Madoz, maybe the most important photographer who use all kind of objects in his pictures, always in a creative and awesome way. I made my first photography project this year, called “Imagine”. A twenty-one conceptual & creative picture with different messages, which had his own exhibition on September 2014.

BIOGRAPHY I come from Germany where I have been born in 1970. I work for the largest German IT company but spend most of my free time following my passion for fine-art photography. I have a big partiality for long exposure landscape and architecture images ever since I discovered the works of photographers like Michael Kenna or Josef Hoflehner. I am a co-founder of the German Photographer Community “lumifaktur.de.
