Remembering Josie Fine A celebration of life for Josie Fine will be held at the memorial garden on the grounds of Brickey-McCloud Elementary at 7 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 4. The family will have some scrapbooks and photo albums available to show the great things that have happened since Josie passed away March 14. In honor of Josie’s birthday (Aug. 6), eight sky lanterns will be released at approximately 8 p.m. Friends are encouraged to bring a new or gently-used book to be donated to area schools so that all children have the opportunity to enjoy reading as Josie did. By Ruth White When the Cochran family learned that their son Saxon had been diagnosed with a cancer that is rarely found in children, Chick-fil-A stepped up and brought food for the family during their stay at Children’s Hospital. Saxon’s older brother Spencer works at the store on Clinton Highway that is operated by Greg Jones. When Spencer asked off for July 24, Saxon’s 13th birthday, Chick-fil-A volunteered to cater his party.
