This is a jigging technique which originated in Japan and is getting more popular in the Mediterranean. Natural bait like a shrimp is hooked on a specially designed jig head, which produces a fluttering action. The combination of this action and natural smell triggers bottom fish to feed. The rod comes in 2 models to fish all of the different sizes Shimano Tenya jigs.
The Yasei Seabass has been built on a super fast tapered HPC100 blank and is a true casting machine! The fast action also allows it to impart plenty of action into softbait lures to bring them to life. The rod range varies from 2.1m boat rods to 3.6m heavy shore casting rods. Finished with K-type guides, these rods are the ultimate bass fishing tool. The white mark below the tip guide indicates lure action and bites.

The first Yasei rod made for the Shimano Travel Concept! The Yasei Monster is made to target bigger fish, from the bank or from the boat. The 240 is made for boat fishing, while the 315 has an extra heavy action for bank fishing. The blank is made of the special mix of HPC100 carbon and Biofibre for improved balance and strength. Finished with a Fuji DPS reel seat, Fuji Alconite guides and EVA grips, this rod is perfect for the travelling angler or those who want a rod in the car at all times.
