For red fields to be capable for community green fields, they had to be located on a commercial corridor. Location is crucial for community programs because they are intended to function as social and economic hubs. Additionally, they had to have a gentle slope so that grading would not be cost-prohibitive. See figures 7–16 to 7–18.
