Holiday Cherry Fruit Tart Ingredients 1 and ½ C flour 1 and ½ stick plus 2 t margarine softened 2 T sugar 1 C chopped pecans Step 1 Mix together – dough will be stiff. Press into a greased (use shortening) and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until lightly brown. Cool Step 2 Mix 1 8 ounce package softened cream cheese with 2 cups of powdered sugar until smooth. Prepare 2 envelopes of Dream Whip according to the package and add to the cream cheese and powdered sugar mixture. Pour over the cooled crust and refrigerate for several hours or overnight. Step 3 Spread 2 cans of cherry pie filling over the top before serving. Step 4 ENJOY!! Makes a lovely Christmas dish that will be requested year after year!
