Alberta Culture Days Since its inaugural weekend in 2008, the Spruce Grove Public Library has taken part in Alberta Culture Days. Over the past 7 years, we have hosted musicians, singers, dancers, painters, sculptors, photographers, authors, poets, screenwriters and multi-media experts. We have also featured and celebrated the cultural diversity in our community and throughout Canada during story times, school tours, workshops and more. Each year, we partner with the Allied Arts Council of Spruce Grove to offer artistic and cultural events, free of charge, for all ages. This year from September 25-27 will be no exception! Visit www.sgpl.ca and www.allied artscouncil.com for detailed program information that will be posted as it becomes available.

SGPL is proud to report that three of the five ECMap domains compliment our 2015-2018 plan of service: Creating Young Readers (Language & Thinking); Express Creativity and Inquiry (Communication Skills & General Knowledge); and Participate, Connect and Engage (Social Competence). These icons appear throughout this guide to inform you of the desired skills and outcomes considered while developing SGPL programs and services.
