Arts Garage, 180 NE 1st St. in Delray Beach, presents It’s a Wonderful Life, one of the most beloved holiday stories of all time today at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The classic film script will be performed live, with performers utilizing specially designed sound effect devices, providing a nostalgic trip to the past with a modern twist. New York City may have the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, but South Florida kicks off the holiday season with the Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade. Instead of giant balloons, boats of all shapes and sizes are decorated for a festive nighttime parade up the Intracoastal Waterway. This year’s theme is Passport to Paradise and features racecar driver Ryan Hunter Reay and 90210 actress Tory Spelling as grand marshals, along with Santa Claus, of course.
