Don’t miss The Santaland Diaries, writer and comedian David Sedaris’ hilarious one-man send up of his brief, misguided career as a Macy’s department store elf. The show skewers our sentimental love of all things Christmas – the happy children, the spritely elves, the gifts, the good cheer. You’ll never feel the same way about our American Christmas traditions again! Jamie Morris (Mommie Queerest, Silence of the Clams) stars as Crumpet the Elf at Empire Stage, 1140 N. Flagler Dr. in Fort Lauderdale, through Dec. 22. Tickets are $30 at EmpireStage.com. soflagaynews //
