COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCES

NASPAA accredited

M.P.A. ranked as a Best Program for Nonprofit Management by U.S. News & World Report

The College of Arts and Sciences teaches and researches the liberal arts and sciences, the fields of independent inquiry that teach people how to think constructively, creatively, and responsibly in a free society. Its graduate programs incorporate the latest methodologies and technology with care for the lives of others and for students’ purpose in the world. The College’s faculty includes Fulbright Scholars and best-selling novelists; recipients of major grants from the National Institute of Health, National Science Foundation, Department of Defense, NASA, and National Endowment for the Humanities; and servant leaders who help the local communities. They mentor students on original, meaningful research in their laboratories, archives, and neighborhoods. They will transform the way students think and empower them with the experience, knowledge, and connections to make a difference.

Seton Hall’s master’s degree in social work is an exemplary program that provides a rigorous — yet innovative — education, preparing students with relevant, results-oriented instruction to excel and prevail in the professional world.

COLLEGE OF HUMAN DEVELOPMENT CULTURE AND MEDIA

In its national survey of online graduate education programs, U.S. News and World Report recognized Seton Hall’s online graduate program in Education Leadership, Management and Policy as one of the top in the nation.

Uniting scholars and students from four dynamic departments, the College provides cutting-edge, transdisciplinary inquiry into some of the most challenging problems of our time.

Expression underpins all facets of the new College’s portfolio — media as a form of education and artistic expression; teaching and learning as modes of creative expression; self-expression as a vehicle of social agency. From counseling to education, law enforcement to leadership, students are grounded firmly in their chosen discipline while expanding their perspectives through collaboration — setting them apart in their ability to lead in a variety of fields and solve pressing problems in society.

These are the kinds of leaders who will use their knowledge and experience to create positive change in their communities and beyond.

The faculty are not only passionate about their subject matter; they’re committed to helping students develop the skills and knowledge needed to be successful school leaders. To this day, I know that I can reach out to any of my former professors for guidance at any time.

SCHOOL OF HEALTH AND MEDICAL SCIENCES

U.S. News & World Report ranks the M.S. in Physician Assistant (PA) program 20th nationally. The Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) program ranks in the top 50 nationally and is the only one of its kind (on campus and online/ hybrid) accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) in New Jersey.

The School of Health and Medical Sciences provides exceptional academic and clinical training in graduate-level health sciences and health administration at its state-of-the-art Interprofessional Health Sciences campus. The School’s innovative graduate programs, taught by a dedicated team of nationally-recognized faculty, feature flexible and diverse curricula, and provide students with a comprehensive knowledge base—empowering them to become skilled, career-ready healthcare practitioners with excellent career outcomes.

In addition, the School’s interprofessional education (IPE) model prepares healthcare leaders of tomorrow to focus on person-centered care and to make a difference in patients’ lives and communities. This landmark IPE strategy is inclusive and comprehensive in scope; promotes personal, community, and population health; and promotes social justice while addressing social determinants.

The MHA program gave me the security of landing my dream job before I graduated — all because of the connections and skills I built at Seton Hall. In the classroom, I learned from professors who are experts in the field, and through my internship, I developed real-world healthcare experience.

SCHOOL OF LAW

U.S. News & World Report ranks the Law School 56th overall, with its Part-Time Program ranked 12th and Health Care Law Program 11th.

When studying at the Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, N.J., students are only a train ride away from New York City and Wall Street. Students are encouraged to complete externships for academic credit, with school-coordinated opportunities including judicial externships, IRS externships, entertainment industry externships, and European court externships.

All law students participate in a skills curriculum, which provides hands-on training in small class settings. In addition, J.D. students may be able to get practical experience through centers operated by Seton Hall Law School, including the Center for Health and Pharmaceutical Law and Policy, the Center for Social Justice, the Gibbons Institute for Law, Science, and Technology, and the Center for Religiously Affiliated Corporations. Students are able to focus their studies in healthcare law or intellectual property law.

While my immigration process to the U.S. was easier than most, it required significant resources and navigation of a system with little help or information readily available. Because of my experience, I aim to use my math and education skills to improve legal access and representation.

STILLMAN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS

The Stillman School’s M.B.A. program is included in The Princeton Review’s “Best Business Schools” and is a US News & World Report “top business school for part-time MBAs.”

The Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University was established in 1950 to provide education geared toward the complex, practical needs of business leaders. As the first private business school in N.J. to earn accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International), the School continues to maintain professional accreditation from AACSB and is the only school in northern N.J. with both business and accounting accreditation.

The School’s educational focus is on transforming concepts into practice. Accordingly, its curriculum extends beyond the four walls of a classroom. Stillman’s location and strong alumni connections provide students with a wealth of learning and career opportunities, including access to some of the most prominent employers in the world.

The convenience of Seton Hall’s M.S. in Business Analytics program is something that makes it unique. Being able to take the entire program online allowed me to fully utilize my time.
