Kentucky Children’s Hospital Additional Specialties Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences provides medical and surgical services for ocular diseases and eye disorders for children as well as adults. The department’s faculty offers ophthalmic consultations and performs computerized visual field testing, diagnostic electrophysiology testing (electroretinography, visual-evoked potentials), ultrasonography, photography and fluorescein angiography. Subspecialties include retinal and vitreous problems, corneal and external disease, glaucoma, and pediatric ophthalmology. The department also offers ophthalmic pathology services.

Pediatric Dentistry The Division of Pediatric Dentistry provides consultation and comprehensive care for all levels of oral/dental needs for infants, children and adolescents. Service is available for the compromised or healthy patient.
Psychiatry The faculty of the Department of Psychiatry provides a full range of clinical services for children and adults. The department’s multidisciplinary faculty is active in a variety of clinical and research interests in biological psychiatry, pharmacotherapy and behavior therapy, including cognitive therapy.
