Surgery Cardiothoracic Surgery The Multidisciplinary Lung Cancer Program The Markey Cancer Center at the University of Kentucky is a comprehensive, multidisciplinary cancer treatment and research facility. The most active part of the Markey Cancer Center is the Multidisciplinary Lung Cancer Program, directed by one of the thoracic surgery faculty, Dr. Timothy Mullett. This extremely efficient and user-friendly program provides easy entry of lung cancer patients into a system that offers expert medical oncology, radiation therapy, pulmonary medicine, chest imaging service, pathology support and surgical support, all housed in a single clinic and available at the time of the initial patient visit.
