The faculty provides clinical evaluations and treatment at the Markey Cancer Center, located on the UK Chandler Hospital campus and at affiliated centers throughout Kentucky. The Markey Cancer Center takes a comprehensive, multidisciplinary team approach to the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Specialists in the following clinical divisions participate in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer: gynecological oncology; adult hematology/oncology and blood and marrow transplantation; pathology; pediatric hematology/ oncology; radiation oncology; radiology; and surgical oncology. The physicians and staff of the UK Markey Cancer Center are dedicated to state-of-the-art and compassionate care for cancer patients.

The Markey Cancer Center consists of four contiguous buildings: • Ben F. Roach Building Inpatient Cancer Care and Outpatient Hematology Program • Whitney-Hendrickson Building Outpatient Cancer Services • Davis-Mills Building Chemotherapy Infusion Center • Combs Building Cancer Research The Ben F. Roach Cancer Care Facility contains 56 private inpatient rooms on the second and third floors, including a 16-bed Blood and Marrow Transplant Unit. Outpatient cancer services are based in the WhitneyHendrickson Building, which provides a multidisciplinary setting for evaluation and disease management by physicians with expertise in surgical, medical and radiation oncology. Outpatients with hematologic disorders are cared for on the first floor of the Roach Building. Chemotherapy and infusion services are provided seven days a week in the Davis-Mills Building, which is attached to the Whitney-Hendrickson Building. 12 6
