Threads Per Inch (TPI) 22, 27, 32 and 60 TPI The number of nylon threads that cross through one square inch of the tireâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s casing. Lower TPI provides improved puncture and tear resistance, but also increases the overall weight of the tire. Higher TPI conforms more to the terrain, offering a smoother, more supple ride and offers a lighter weight construction.

U TER Puncture Protection Technology Double Breaker A tire with the Double Breaker has a double anti-puncture system. This means twice as much protection! In addition to APL (Anti-Puncture Layer), the tire incorporates a closely woven EPS (Exceptional Puncture Safety) layer. This ultra-modern protection system reduces the chance of puncture to a minimum.

LDP LDP consists of an extra-thick 3mm layer of rubber between the tread and the casing. Since the rubber has a strong rebound characteristic, debris is more likely to exit the tire than continue through and cause damage.

Kevlar® Inside Kevlar® Inside incorporates Kevlar® fibers into a 1.5mm layer of natural rubber between the tread and the casing. These fibers resist cuts and tears from road debris, while the extra rubber keeps sharp objects from traveling through to penetrate the tire.

APL APL Anti-Puncture features a respectable 0.7mm layer of rubber between the tread and the casing. This additional rubber layer assists in preventing penetration through the tire.
