INCA TRAIL CUSCO PERU The Inca Trail is the most famous trek in Peru and probably in all South America. During this trip you will have to overcome aprox. 43 km (26 miles) by walking. You will have opportunity to discover mysterious stone paths, enigmatic and fantastic archaeological remains made by the Incas. The route lasts 4 days until arriving at the great sanctuary of Machu Picchu. This walk also shows us a combination of beautiful Andean and high jungle landscapes. One of the main differences in comparison to other treks like the Inca jungle, is that this journey demands to camp during 3 nights in 2-person tents. INCA TRAIL ITINERARY HERE During the 2 first days you will admire the sunrise behind the mountains. The last day, having in mind that we will have to walk for a long time to arrive at Machu Picchu as quick as possible, you will have to wake up very early in the morning; around 4 am. Then we will have a healthy breakfast with delicious tea, if you desire the famous coca tea. And start our walk to Machu Picchu. To confirm the booking of this unforgettable trek, you will have to pay 50% of the total price up front, along with the following information: passport number, date of birth, nationality and contact information. Please note, that due to the high demand of this tour and to the request of UNESCO, the Peruvian government has put a limit to the access to Inca trial which is 500 people per day, including the tour staff like guides, cooks, assistants and porters. So if you want to do the Inca trail, between March and October, you will have to make a booking at least 6 months in advance and if you are considering the months between November to January you will have to book 3 months in advance. It’s important to point out that the Inca trail is closed during the month February. Unfortunately there is much information on different websites, which can confuse travelers about the tours to Machu Picchu and the availability to have access to this unique place. So we highly recommend you to discover in advance and get the right information so you don’t lose the chance to walk the ancient Inca trail.
