DAVIDSON @ 1:40 pm Named to the 2012 All Big East Tournament Team Led the Big East in blocks and is top 5 in the NCAA in rebounds per game with 9.1 Freshman Year: Dieng produced his first career double-double with 13 points and a career-high 12 rebounds against Connecticut (2/18/11). He blocked a shot in 24 of his 29 games as a freshman, with multiple swats in 13 games. He was third in the BIG EAST and ranked 53rd nationally in blocks (1.9). He blocked at least four shots in five games, including rejecting five against Seton Hall and at USF in his first two BIG EAST games. He started as Center in 10 games, averaging 6.4 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.2 blocks in those 10 starts while hitting 26-of-42 field goals (.619).

BAYE MOUSSA KEITA Syracuse 6’11 C (Big East Conference) - Sophomore, Saint Louis, Senegal SEEDS Alumni ‘09 PLAYS THURSDAY (3/15/12) VS. UNC-ASHEVILLE @ 3:10 pm Keita scored a career-high of 14 points on 6-for-6 shooting from the floor against ALBANY and grabbed all five rebounds on the offensive glass. Against COLGATE, he had 3 blocks and 6 rebounds. He tallied 7 points and grabbed 4 rebounds against EASTERN MICHIGAN and matched his season-high with 3 blocks against TULANE. Against MARQUETTE, Keita posted 4 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks in a season-high of 20 minutes play time. He scored 2 points on 2-for-2 shooting from the free throw line, grabbed 7 rounds and blocked 2 shots against VILLANOVA. He was 2-for-3 from the floor and scored 4 points and had 4 rebounds against PROVIDENCE. He tied a season-high with 3 blocks against WEST VIRGINIA. Keita graduated from Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, VA.

CHEIKH MBODJ Cincinnati 6’10 PF/C (Big East Conference) - Junior, Dakar, Senegal SEEDS Alumni ‘09 PLAYS FRIDAY (3/16/12) VS. TEXAS @ 12:15 pm Mbodj is the primary backup to Yancy Gates. He has been hampered all-season by a serious ankle sprain. He earned 2011 NJCAA All-America honorable mention selection and tabbed 2011 North Texas Junior College Athletic Association co-player of the year. He averaged a team-leading 14.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.2 blocks for GRAYSON who posted a 20-11 mark. He ranked No. 24 in the NJCAA Division I statistical rankings in blocks per game and shot 50.8 percent from the field (152-of-299). He is listed as a three-star prospect by Rivals.com and chose to attend Cincinnati over San Diego State.


MOUSSA GUEYE Alabama 7’0 C (SEC Conference) - Sophomore, Thies, Senegal SEEDS Alumni ‘10 PLAYS FRIDAY (3/16/12) VS. CREIGHTON @ 1:40 pm In September, Gueye suffered a torn anterior-cruciate ligament in his knee during a preseason pickup game. Though recovered, he has seen limited playing time this season, after his return to competition in January. Additionally, Gueye started several games during the SEC conference season and was considered by all recruiting services as one of the top junior college centers in the nation. He is rated as a four-star prospect by rivals.com. In his first season at LAKE LAND he was named the conference's freshman of the year and averaged 10.3 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game.

YOUSSOUPHA NDOYE St. Bonaventure 6’11 C (A-10 Conference) - Freshman, Dakar, Senegal SEEDS Alumni ‘10 PLAYS FRIDAY (3/16/12) VS. FLORIDA STATE @ 2:45 pm In the regular season, Ndoye snared 6 rebounds in 17 minutes of work against Richmond (Jan. 28). He scored 5 points -- including a go-ahead dunk in overtime -- in the Bonnies’ victory over Rhode Island (Jan. 25), in addition to a block and drawn charge in the final 77 seconds. He used 2 dunks and went 3-of-3 from the line to record a career-high 9 points (3-4 FGs) at Xavier (Jan. 14). Ndoye chipped in 4 points, 2 blocks and 2 boards in 15 minutes of work against GW (Jan.4) and grabbed 7 rebounds and scored 5 points, including 3 free throws to help SBU defeat Saint Francis (Pa.) (Dec. 23). He recorded his first career steal in Rochester against NC State (Dec. 20) and made his first career free throw in the Bonnies’ 76-66 win over Loyola (Md.) (Dec. 18). He recorded his first career start at 24/22 Illinois against reigning Big 10 Player of the Week Meyers Leonard and helped limit the 7-footer to just 3 shots in 29 minutes. He earned a career-high 19 minutes off the bench at Buffalo (Dec. 3) and scored the first points of his collegiate career

ASSANE SENE Virginia 7’0 C (ACC Conference) – Senior, Saint Louis , Senegal 3 year starter for Cavaliers. College career finished due to ankle surgery on 1/21/12 SEEDS Alumni ‘07 PLAYS FRIDAY (3/16/12) VS. FLORIDA @ 2:10 pm Sene ranks 10th in school history with 93 career blocked shots and averaged career highs of 5.1 points, 5.5 rebounds and 22.5 minutes played a game during the 2010-11 season and made 52.7 percent (59-112) of his shots from the field. In the Atlantic Coast Conference games during the 2010-11 regular season, he ranked 7th among conference players in blocked shots (27, 1.7 bpg.), 9th in rebounds (109, 6.8 rpg.) and 10th in defensive rebounds (71, 4.4 drpg.). Sene tied his career high with 15 points (7-9 FG) in a career-high of 34 minutes at Maryland (3/5/11). He established a career high with 15 points and had 13 rebounds for his first career double-double at Wake Forest (1/29/11) during the 2010-11 season. He had a career-high 15 rebounds vs. Maryland (1/27/11) at John Paul Jones Arena and tied a career high with 5 blocks, scored 11 points and had 9 rebounds at Boston College (1/19/11).
