We are working very hard to offer you the best SECSE ever. All of us really hope for this to be an amazing experience full of learning, shared knowledge and lots of fun. Can’t wait to see you all! Spread SECSE love! The OC

METHOD EXCHANGE SESSIONS The Method Exchange sessions are the foundations of Cooperations on Sexual Education such as the SECSE and the NECSE. All the participating NMOs in the SECSE have to take part in the method exchange. Thus, they should keep in mind that: 1. They must prepare a session to share their methods, as the participants are willing to find out new approaches to peer education and how to apply them appropriately in order to become better Peer Educators. 2. They have to attend the method exchange sessions facilitated by other NMOs, since they will be doing their best to help you improve or even create your own peer-education program. The sessions (that can either last half an hour or an hour) are the key of this event, as they ensure that all participants get to have a go at sharing what they think is the best method.

TRANSPORTATION & MEETING POINTS A map has been created to facilitate your arrival at the pick-up points. You can find it under the following link: https://mapsengine.google.com/map/edit?mid=z8iyl75AtyYY.kV7Z9hFuyczI We have set up four meeting points for the participants on September 4th.

El Prat Airport (Barcelona) Terminal 1 1 pm

Acadèmia de Ciències Mèdiques 1.30 pm

To ensure your comfort, the SECSE Bus has been made available for you - so you don’t need to worry about transportation issues at all. Four members of the OC will be waiting for you and escorting you to the bus.

This is where the check-in will officially take place, so be sure to arrive at time.

Plaça Catalunya 7.30 pm

The Venue, Josep Maria Batista i Roca (El Masnou) Any time or later than 7.30 pm

At the end of the fun tour we have organized around Barcelona, those participants who arrive during the afternoon will be able to take the SECSE Bus.

7

Once you get there, you will be able to take the SECSE Bus for the rest of the day.

Two members of the OC will stay at the hostel, in case you don't arrive in time at any of the pick-up points mentioned.

You will find below the best ways to get to the pick-up points.

SECSE Bus At 1 pm, the SECSE Bus will be waiting for those of you who arrive during the morning. If your plane lands at Terminal T2, you will need to take the free shuttle in order to get to T1 where we will meet. Here you have a map in which you can see where to take it.

8

From the Airport to the city centre (Plaça Catalunya) If you don’t arrive on time to catch the SECSE Bus, you will need to get to Plaça Catalunya. We highly recommend you the Aerobús, which is the fastest and easiest way to get there. The price for a single ticket is 5,90 €. You can buy your ticket from the staff at the bus stops (cash only payments), at the automatic sales machines (payment by credit card) or by paying the bus driver (cash only payments). Encashment change up to 20 €. Where to find the stop depends on which terminal you arrive at (check the maps below). More information on fares, lines and timetables at: www.aerobusbcn.com

 Terminal 2 map and route (A2)

Acadèmia de Ciències Mèdiques i de la Salut de Catalunya i de Balears Once you get to Plaça Catalunya you can go to the Acadèmia de Ciències Mèdiques, where the opening ceremony will take place. Remember that you have to be there at 1.30 pm. In order to get there you have to take the train FGC (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya), line L6 heading to Reina Elisenda. In the map below you can see where to take it, just follow this sign:

These are the stations you will see during the route. You have to get off at Reina Elisenda, which is the last stop. Single tickets cost 2,15 €. However, if you are a group between 5 and 10 people, we strongly advise you to get a T-10 ticket, which is a multi-person card for 10 journeys inside the zone 1 and costs 10,30 €. Once you arrive at Reina Elisenda, make sure you take the exit called Avinguda Josep Vicenç Foix. Then, walk straight up Avinguda Josep Vicenç Foix until you see a roundabout (it’s the rotonda de Can Caralleu). Take the 3rd exit onto Carrer Major de Can Carelleu, where you will be able to see the Acadèmia de Ciències Mèdiques building on your left.
