“HOLY WOMEN TRUE SELF OF IDENTIFICATION!” “That you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.” (Ephesians 4:24) Why not live life in Christ without reservation? Why not allow Him to transform our will? Why not accept the character transformation He wants to perform so we can think and act as His liberated persons? Why not indeed? So you really want to be identified by the prophets and apostles’ foundational truth? Here is why. The old person we were has been put away before we were Spirit Baptized into the family of God and began the new life we have in Christ. A new creation - Old things are passed away (aorist tense indicating the decisive change salvation brings). Perfect tense indicating abiding results of the new life in Christ. The grace of God not only justifies, but also makes a new creation which results in a changed style of life. We are assured by God: “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who love me and gave Himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20) The self is a container. It can be filled with egotism or Christ, grimness or His grace, pride or praise, fear or faith. Daily surrendering the self to Christ is the secret of our true and new self. Thus, we are identified by His principles. Amen
