Bishop’s Epistle

August 27, 2017

Be Reconciled to God, HE WILL HEAL YOUR WOUNDS! (II Corinthians 5:11-21) Sons and Daughters of My Flock, Grace to you! Many Christians are suffering emotionally, mentally, psychologically and physically because they refuse to return to fellowship with the Lord Christ and His church. They know the Lord experientially, but have fallen out of fellowship with Him because of their sinfulness. Their inner wounds are pledging them and demonic spirits are keeping them away from church worship, and active involvement in the work of the church. They seem to always have excuses as to why they do everything else except attend church (Hebrews 10:25). God speaks to us saying: “We are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us; we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God” (II Corinthians 5:20). Peacemaking is an active task! It is a vital ministry in the Lord’s church. The Lord Christ is the saints’ motive. There can be no peace nor wound healing for saints who have fallen out of fellowship with the Lord Christ. We will always be unsettled with guilt, frustrated by ambivalence, or confused of purpose. We cannot be at peace with God or discover peace in our relationships or situations with others. When we are controlled by the love of Christ, we seek to communicate His peace. We will no longer see other Christians from a competitive point of view. We affirm what Christ has given others to use as the gifts of life. The war within ourselves is challenged to share what we have found. We are to be actively seeking to bring reconciliation. The ministry of reconciliation is helping separated parties rediscover the point of view of others. We are to listen and interpret, understand and share the hurt, express and transmit forgiveness. Wherever there is a wound in the church, we are Christ’s healing corpuscles sent to bring healing. Amen Until He Comes, I Am Serving Christ Joyfully, U|á{ÉÑ WÜA jÅ _teâx W|ÄÄtÜw Parish Under-shepherd
