WELCOME TO BENAROYA HALL BENAROYA HALL, opened in 1998, is Seattle’s most visited arts venue.* Known for its world-renowned acoustics, unique architecture and beautiful art, the Hall is not only the home of the SEATTLE SYMPHONY — it is host to hundreds of public and private events every year, including concerts, lectures, graduation ceremonies and receptions of all kinds. Now in its 18th season, BENAROYA HALL offers the deep variety of artistic and educational programming you see in this brochure, from one-night-only lectures to week-long music celebrations, and everything in–between. In the 2015–2016 season, this concert series features an amazing lineup of dynamic and eclectic music that includes: Chris Cornell, Bollywood Masala Orchestra, The Zombies, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, The Brian Setzer Orchestra, Dar Williams and many more. In this compelling two-act opera, Heggie and Scheer convey the vastness of the Holocaust’s scope through emotionally rich portraits of those caught in its grasp. The opera offers eloquent musical witness to survival in the face of unimaginable adversity.

“Mr. Heggie may well be the richest, most accessible, most captivating opera composer since Benjamin Britten. . . He reduces major universal issues to credible personal stories, to which a listener can connect.” – Wall Street Journal (2015)

The remarkably talented and endearing Northwest Boychoir along with Vocalpoint! Seattle present the story of the Nativity told through reading, choral setting and audience carols.

Beethoven’s masterpiece for the ages is a wonderful way to end the year or begin the new one. The beauty and drama of the Ninth is alternately awe-inspiring and uplifting.

For New Year’s Eve you can follow the Ninth with a post-concert party that includes a live performance by electro-swing band Good Co and dancing all the way to the midnight countdown and beyond!
