I am delighted to share this edition of The Scout Guide Hamptons with you, celebrating the artisans, entrepreneurs and makers behind the exceptional small businesses out east. These people have taken risks, followed their passions, and made a commitment to supporting our community.

I couldn’t be prouder to introduce you to some of the champions of Suffolk County. It is my honor to be an advocate, ambassador and cheerleader for the people and the places you’ll see in these pages. These are the individuals and families that make our community a remarkable place to live!

Meg is an influencer and brand ambassador for numerous fine clothing, decor, skincare, and accessory brands. The feeling of helping others makes her heart sing, and her goal is to leave everyone in her path happy. She is a great supporter of women in business and has collaborated with brands such as J.McLaughlin, MME. Meg consults with numerous brands to help locate and connect them with the perfect avenues for their product placement. She also lends her time to a few organizations close to her heart, including the Southampton Historic Museum and the soup kitchen at Sacred Heart Basilica in Southampton.

She is very excited to introduce a caftan collboration with a favorite brand, putting her own spin on a classic silhouette. Meg and her husband spend their time between Southampton and Palm Beach.

MADISON JOHNSON

Raised in Southampton, New York, Madison Johnson truly knows the heart and soul of The Hamptons. Graduating from FIDM in California with a merchandise marketing degree, she missed home! Settling back in Southampton, Madison leveraged her expertise while working in retail at Calypso and Joey Wölffer's clothing store.

Madison helped open the Joey Wölffer brand's first retail shop in Sag Harbor and took part in designing their inhouse label "Reworked by Joey Wölffer". Madison found great success in fashion and visuals which inspired her move into social media marketing, helping brands express their mission through photographs.

Madison is happiest going for walks around the village with her young daughter sipping an iced oat milk latte and having dinners on the beach watching the sun go down. You’ll always find Madison traveling, entertaining in her new home, or running around Agawam Lake.

Annie Falk is an award-winning author, blogger, producer, and philanthropist with a background in corporate event planning and a passion for the culinary arts. Her books have appeared on best sellers lists and are endorsed by celebrities and renowned chefs. Most recently, Annie launched Seated, a tool to simplify your seating plans and soirée design, which is now available in the App Store.

Having created numerous events to support humanitarian projects alongside the world’s most recognized names in entertainment, fashion, and society, Annie’s work has been showcased on NBC, WPTV, and NPR, and she was featured on ABC’s Legends & Legacies series. Locally, you may know her as the author of Hamptons Entertaining, or have seen her featured in Hamptons Magazine, Beach Magazine, Hamptons Cottages & Gardens, and Modern Luxury

While she may be best known for her impeccable taste and creative ideas in event planning, it is her ability to use those attributes to support causes and help communities, while bringing joy to others, that makes her stand apart. The sand hills are an extraordinary feature formed hundreds of years ago. They continuously shift and are sometimes referred to as ‘Walking Dunes’. They can reach up to 80 feet and are always worth the climb.

PETER MARINO ART FOUNDATION

Located at the former Rogers Memorial Library in Southampton, The Peter Marino Art Foundation exhibits more than 150 artworks from The Peter Marino Collection, including paintings, sculpture, drawings, photography and ceramics from 3500 BC to the present day. Curated by Peter Marino himself, the exhibition shows a variety of mediums from a collection that Mr. Marino has been developing for more than 40 years. HAMPTONS INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

Celebrating 31 years this October, The Hamptons International Film Festival was founded in 1992 to celebrate the art of film and to introduce a unique and varied spectrum of international films and film makers to their audience.
