È una storia di conquiste che iniziò nel lontano 1897 dall’intuizione e creatività di un intraprendente maestro calzolaio; una storia che prosegue da oltre un secolo con impegno, tenacia ed una passione tutta italiana. Dolomite è plasmata dalle sue epiche imprese. La prima nel 1954: una spedizione italiana conquista per la prima volta la cima del Karakorum K2, una delle vette più pericolose del mondo. La spedizione era equipaggiata con calzature Dolomite. Molte altre avventure seguirono: dalla spedizione in Groenlandia nel 1966 all’ascesa del grande Fitz Roy in Patagonia nel 1976, fino ad arrivare all’ultima grande sfida etica, Rangdum 2011. È da questa storia straordinaria che Dolomite acquisisce un’esperienza ed una conoscenza unica ed originale che, oggi come ieri, si può percepire in tutte le sue collezioni.
THE STORY OF A BRAND. It is a tale of adventure that started back in 1897 based on the skill and creativity of a resourceful master cobbler, which has continued for over one hundred years with commitment, tenacity and all Italian passion. Dolomite has been shaped by true adventure. The first in 1954: an Italian expedition group started the mission to conquer the K2 in the Himalaya mountains - one of the most dangerous peak in the world - they were equipped with Dolomite boots. Many other expeditions followed: from Groenlandia in 1966, the ascent of the great Fitz Roy peak in Patagonia in 1976, to the last charity “challenge” Rangdum 2011. It is to these extraordinary traditions that Dolomite owes its unique knowledge and great experience, which you can feel in every piece of the collection.
COLLEZIONE APPAREL SS 2018 L’Outdoor nel cuore, il movimento come stile di vita, la montagna come ispirazione. La collezione SS 2018 di Dolomite rappresenta un punto importante nell’evoluzione dei temi più cari al brand e nell’espressione dei suoi valori imprescindibili, interpretati per la vita contemporanea. La funzione incontra lo stile, la ricerca incontra la tradizione, con la consueta cura del dettaglio dal gusto squisitamente italiano. Una collezione dinamica per un lifestyle dinamico. L’Heritage di Dolomite declinato nei piumini ultralight di nuova generazione in cui la funzione e lo stile si uniscono, dando vita ad un look certamente sportivo ma molto trasversale e facilmente interpretabile per un utilizzo quotidiano. I colori che si mixano all’interno della stessa giacca, i richiami al passato che si esprimono attraverso la rivisitazione grafica dei patch, il camouflage mixato ai colori pieni rendono la linea Sporty Heritage sempre più interessante, originale ed unica. La seconda linea della collezione, Urban Outdoor, si evolve grazie ai nuovi capi ibridi, in cui i tessuti funzionali vengono interpretati e mixati a tessuti naturali per bomber, field jackets ed impermeabili. Nuovi anche i volumi e le vestibilità che si adattano alle necessità della vita quotidiana, alla voglia di mobilità ma anche alla ricerca di uno stile aggiornato ed unico. Per la stagione SS 18 Dolomite presenta anche una linea di capi che vanno ad integrazione dei capispalla must have: Basic Journey infatti una linea di borse, t-shirts, camicie e pantaloni cargo, dai tessuti freschi e stampe dal sapore outdoor.

Dolomite’s SS18 collection marks a crucial stage in the development of the themes the brand cares most about and in expressing its fundamental values geared to modern life. Function meets style and research meets tradition with the customary, beautifully-executed details in exquisite Italian taste. A dynamic collection for a dynamic lifestyle. Dolomite’s heritage is exhibited in new-generation ultralight padded jackets that combine function with style to create a sporty yet very versatile look, even for everyday wear. Multiple colours on the same jacket, references to the past seen in the new patch graphics and camo mixed with plain colours make the Sporty Heritage range ever more interesting, original and unique. The collection’s second line, Urban Outdoor, is updated through new hybrid articles in which functional textiles are mixed with natural fabrics for bombers, field jackets and raincoats. There are new volumes, too, and the garments’ fit adapts to the needs of modern life, to our fast-paced lifestyle and our pursuit of an on-trend, unique style. For SS 2018, Dolomite also presents a line of articles to complement the brand’s must-have outerwear: Basic Journey is a range of bags, T-shirts, shirts and cargo pants in cool fabrics and prints with an outdoor look.
