“My family history of military service goes back for generations,” says Otis. “My 6th generation grandfather fought in the American Revolution. His first cousin was James Otis who gave the speech on “Taxation without representation equals tyranny.” My dad served in combat WWII, and I served in Operation Desert Storm with the 174th, and my son Nick also serves today with the 174th AW.” A 22-year military veteran passionate about veteran issues, Otis wants to be sure that a portion of their proceeds goes to help veteran not for profits that work to educate and help veterans with PTSD issues. “Twentytwo veterans a day kill themselves, over 8,000 a year, that’s a staggering number,” Otis reflects.
