Graduate reflects on her “Learning by Heart” education:

graduate, Stephanie Samayoa headed to Washington D.C. a few weeks ago to begin classes at George Washington School of Law.

Ranked in the nation’s top 20 law schools, George Washington attracted Stephanie, who is from Spain, because the school has a strong international program in a city “full of intellectuals, career opportunities, and incomparable cultural, political and social events.” Samayoa says Schreiner gave her the confidence to step out of her “comfort zone” and realize she could accomplish anything she worked hard to obtain, including competing for and securing acceptance at several top-tier law schools. providing seminars, challenging classes and thoughtful feedback from professors,” Samayoa said. “On every single essay I wrote, I received excellent recommendations and various points of view from professors who helped me become proficient, articulate and concise.” “I am so thankful to the people who offered me a scholarship to attend SU and continued to support all of my endeavors. I had the best support system at Schreiner. Whether it was my mentor, Dr. Adam Feltz, or my sorority sisters, I never felt alone or abandoned. I always felt like I fit in and I am so happy and excited for the rest of my future,” the future international lawyer adds. “Everyone at SU made my journey the best and I will remember my undergrad experience with so much love and appreciation.” Momentum 2012
