At the Schaeffer Center, we shape and effectively communicate evidencebased solutions that measurably improve lives and drive innovation in health care. We also: > Develop the Center’s research agenda to be policy relevant > Implement effective communication plans to ensure the Center’s research findings influence policy > Engage private sector leaders and public sector decision makers in activities aligned with the Center’s areas of focus > Leverage the Center’s affiliation with USC and its location in California to maximize its policy influence > Assist faculty to position themselves as subject experts > Establish baseline metrics to determine the Center’s influence on policy

about the Schaeffer Center
The Schaeffer Center is a leading, national voice in transforming the health care system. Established in 2009 with a generous gift from Leonard and Pamela Schaeffer, the Center brings together health policy experts from the USC Price School of Public Policy, a seasoned pharmacoeconomics team from the USC School of Pharmacy and affiliated faculty and scholars from across USC and other distinguished universities.
