Dear SBCC Foundation, My college experience and education would not be possible without the support I receive through SBCC and the SBCC Foundation. Let me explain: My college life started last year when I was accepted into the Running Start Program. Even before my college life, I had the dream of wanting to be a doctor or business woman, but didn’t think it was possible. The Running Start Program taught me how and showed me the path to pursue my dream of transferring to UCLA. Not only that, when I couldn’t buy all my books because of how much they cost, you gave me an emergency book grant. Now, I’m studying all the time in the computer labs you pay for and in the library that’s open on the weekends because of you. Thank you so much!!! I now feel there are no limits to achieving my goals. I promise to make you all proud. With appreciation,
