This incredible double bill pairs the Christian McBride Trio with Cécile McLorin Salvant and her trio. Mr. McBride is an extraordinary bassist whose trio with pianist Christian Sands and drummer Ulysses Owens, Jr., plays music rooted in the simplicity of storytelling through bluesy, straight-ahead jazz. Their elegant approach pays utmost respect to the history of the music.
