WHAT WE’RE ALL ABOUT When we decided to start satis&fy in 1993, we just had our very first experience with a job in the event industry. We discovered how exciting this “completely everyday madness” can be, when one goes to work with passion and commitment. We gained important insight that day:

This gave us a clear idea of where we wanted to go back then with our three-man show. After all, what we had seen was clear: if we can do it differently and fill in the obvious gaps, we can play at the very top. We decided to work hard to make satis&fy the first name that comes to mind when planning an event and looking for the right partner for the implementation.


You only become a market leader if you make things, not just different, but better than your competitors. What does that mean? We thought intensly about that for a long time. We did not develop strategic guidelines - formalism was never our thing. Rather, three key questions that have shaped our company and that still make us think about our actions: •

How do we manage to have the best specialists in our ranks, to build project teams with maximum competence while still being affordable for the customer? What structure do we need as service providers for event technology and event architecture, so that we can combine every event concept into one? To translate modern, imaginative technical language, and a creative structural design, and are always the first choice? How can we make planning, construction, and implementation smoother, as well as result-oriented? How can we free our customers from the numerous interface problems that occur in the run-up to an event?

Ultimately, we will never be able to fully answer these questions. Our business is characterized by far too many changes and developments. But they helped us to recognize what is important and what we can achieve for our customers. Over time, this resulted in a rather agile business model that allowed for the optimal execution of projects - from customer and employee events, trade fair stands, general meetings, and concert tours, to complex, demanding mega-productions. This scope for action and design has helped satis&fy to grow in line with the needs and requirements of its customers. This has made us what we are today: THE ONE-STOP SOLUTION: FOR MORE QUALITY, INNOVATIVE IMPLEMENTATION, AND TESTABLE RELIEF. That may sound very factual, but for those who have gone through the processes with us on a project know: fun, dedication, and attention to detail are always on board. This is due to the 500+ employees who always do more than just their job.

ONE-STOP-SOLUTION: FROM HERE ON OUT, EVERYTHING IS ABOUT YOU. We came up with a very decisive answer pretty quickly: if we want to be better, we have to pick up the customer where he stands - a mess of coordinative questions and complex decisions. We have to bring to the table, everything we could possibly need for the implementation of their project - including a responsible person who takes over these tasks from the customer and handles them fully. This resulted in our One-StopSolution (OSS). It allows us to answer our three key questions - if not completely, it covers a wide range of possible answers.

The tremendous benefits of the One-Stop-Solution become immediately clear when you look at the graphic presentation on the next page: In the OSS-Wheel, the focus is on the customer and their project, surrounded by all of the trades we have for implementation. In addition, the OSS reduces the number of interfaces from the customer’s point of view. For each project, a Project Manager (PM) is assigned to them. They are responsible for everything, and throughout the duration of the project, their main person of contact. The PM is a convinced generalist. They not only speaks the language of the customer, but know how to translate their ideas into the technical vocabulary of our specialists. They assemble the required teams, control the deployment of the specialist departments, and coordinate everyones tasks. This ensures a smooth process from start to finish, awakening the potential for synergy, which is in every trade mix. The whole thing has another advantage: the OSS gives us more leeway to decide which area of services is provided by which department, and when. That clears the way for creative solutions, saving time and money.

SCENI C SER VI C E S EXHIBIT CONSTRUCTION No other form of event combines product innovation and emotional appeal as skillfully as the exhibition stand. Whatever the customer thinks, we make it happen. For this, we interweave space and visitor guidance skillfully in the presentation of the experience and interlink architectural and media elements with each other. 16

EVENT DESIGN Every event has a story to tell. The author is the client, we are the translators and give the story a distinctive face. Ideas become visible and the unimaginable becomes conceivable. CAD DESIGN There is truly magic here. The client gives us the sketches (no matter how fleeting) or describes their creative vision. We breathe life into the cause.

GRAPHICS From small and large-format digital prints, to 3D logos and vinyl: we support from the creation of suitable print data to on-site installation. DISPLAY Our team is crazy enough to go beyond the usual. We’ve already moved walls, turned infrastructures upside down, turned barren rooms into adventure parks, made shoes fly out of walls, and built bird nests. FURNITURE With a stylish look, we help with the selection of furniture and immerse every event in the right ambience. If the right thing doesn’t exist, we manufacture it. INVENTORY Whatever we build, order, use for the client: It can be safely stored in our warehouse and is quickly available.

HOW DO WE DEFINE SERVICE? We keep everything ready, in terms of technology, materials, personnel, and the ingenuity necessary for a successful realization of an event; and therefore the customer has significantly less stress on the technical and structural side. 20

On the one hand, we have the important innovation and creativity that make the event concept of the customer firsthand experience for the guests. On the other hand, we no longer have to negotiate with individual trades and different suppliers and control their work. Rather, we can concentrate fully on all the other things that need to be done and beyond, to make the event a success.
