It is never too late to be a good
student, according to Coach Chmiel.
An upswing in a student’s grade-point average in later semesters can give a coach the ammunition to make a case for an otherwise-unqualified student-athlete to gain admissions to a college. For this reason, a student’s GPA in later semesters is more important than their GPA in early semesters.
