La retirada de las aguas permite deambular por las 'naves' de esta catedral marítima y adentrarse en grutas entrelazadas que plantean un perpetuo desafío a la gravedad. La sensación es la de estar penetrando en territorio sagrado, esculpido para el culto a las olas por los legendarios atlantes y varado como por error en este tiempo. Pero el templo tiene horario de visitas: si se interpone la pleamar, hay que conformarse con mirar desde la balconada un paisaje compuesto por otras formaciones rocosas cortadas a cuchillo, con una vegetación típica de los acantilados expuestos al mar y numerosas aves marinas.
Cómo llegar Desde Santiago a Lugo y de allí por 640 a Ribadeo. Por la carretera N-634, de Ribadeo a San Cosme de Barreiros. Desvío señalizado en Reinante. La playa es adecuada para el baño y dispone de diversos servicios.
