Creating a community of healthy smiles is top priority for Dr. SohiThadwal and her staff at All About Smiles. For over 20 years, Dr. Sohi and her family have called the Central Valley home. She attended UC Davis, receiving her degree in genetics, and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at UCSF Dental School. She is Invisalign Certified, providing patients with an alternative to conventional braces while achieving optimum cosmetic and functional results. Her passion for cosmetic dentistry has brought glowing smiles to many patients� faces. She and her husband, Bal Thadwal M.D., have two young children and are an important part of the Stockton community. Dr. Sohi understands that a nurturing environment is important to all members of her family, at home and in her practice. Dr. Sohi is All About Smiles.
Dr. Valerie Sims, founder of the V.B.R. Foundation Children’s Services, began her career as a fashion designer and model, but realized her real passion to help people. With the support of her sweet husband Mr. Bill Sims she returned to college, holds several degrees in Psychology and Counseling, and is currently working on a Ph.D. as a licensed Clinical Psychologist. Since opening V.B.R., Dr. Sims has secured an adoption license for the agency’s foster children to find loving homes, expanded the counseling programs, and opened a second office in Elk Grove. Dr. Sims also saw the need for transitional housing for emancipated and foster homeless youth, as well as Fresh Beginning, a drug and alcohol outpatient clinic in Tracy.
