Kathy says “The bride was marrying a man with two young daughters. She wanted to make it a memorable day for not only she and her groom, but also to include her new daughters in the process as well. She told me she loved gerber daisies (gerbera) and hydrangea. I love the combo too, and knew it could be a colorful and pretty look for this family centered marriage. The bride and I decided on simple bouquets of gerbera for the bridesmaids to help save a few dollars for other needed items! Their faith required a structure during the ceremony, called a ‘chuppah’ (that acts as a canopy and is an important part of Judaic tradition) and that took a large part of the budget for décor.
