SPORTING TRIUMPHS Pupil Charlie Eshelby swam for Suffolk at the National Inter-County event at Sheffield and helped Suffolk gain promotion from Division 2 into Division 1 after they came third of the 18 counties in their division! Football Our Year 10 football team won not one, but two matches in the Western Area League, with matches against Stowmarket and Thurston ending in a 1-0 defeat! The team played two challenging games in a row, but worked very hard on both. This put us in a very strong position to qualify for the finals! Man of the match was Tom Hudson our goalkeeper. Cross Country On Thursday 16th October Samuel Ward took 41 pupils to take part in the Suffolk schools Cross Country Competition at The Royal Hospital School in Ipswich. There were approx. 130-150 pupils in a race, and only the top 50 get selected to compete in the next round at the County Finals race. Samuel Ward did fantastic as 16 pupils got through!

An extra congratulations to pupil Hayden Lawrance who came third overall in the race, taking home a bronze medal! We would like to wish the best of luck to all of our pupils taking part in the County Finals.
