#2 However, there are subtle differences… For example, even within the EU there are different guidelines … In the UK & France, it’s best practice to include an ‘Opt-Out’ at the cart; In other European Countries you should provide an ‘Opt-In’ at the cart; In Germany, you should both provide an ‘Opt-In’ at the cart and send a ‘Confirmation Email’ to ensure full compliance with best practice.
