What if you spent your life amazing yourself?

live greater

Are you ready for more? There’s a lot of spirit here. But it’s about more than the Hawk gear you see all over campus. People at Saint Joseph’s strive to make whatever they do just a little better. Hawks ask themselves questions like, “Why settle for a B when I could work harder and get an A?” That’s how magis works. It becomes a part of who we are. It inspires us to make the most of our God-given talents. And in the process, we create amazing lives.

To plan your visit online, go to sju.edu/visit, or call us at 1.888.BE.A.HAWK.

Brilliance is just the beginning. Being bright is a good start. However, knowledge will only get you so far in life; you also need to know what to do with it. That’s why a big part of your SJU experience will be applying what you learn in class to real life. Saint Joseph’s has hundreds of internships and co-ops. Maybe you’ll be a Summer Scholar and do research with a faculty mentor. Or you might turn a class assignment into a fundraiser for

sick kids. Or spend a semester abroad somewhere like Ghana, Beijing, London, Rome, Madrid, or Melbourne. There are amazing academic programs in both our College of Arts & Sciences and Haub School of Business (check out the list of majors!). No matter what course you pursue, you will always find an opportunity to make the experience just a little bit “more.” sju.edu/study

By the time they graduated, 95 percent of the students in Saint Joseph’s class of 2011 had done internships, co-ops, part-time jobs, study abroad, or service.

Businessweek ranked the Haub School of Business as one of the top 70 undergraduate programs in the country.

What more will you do? Maybe you’ve heard: Saint Joseph’s is not for spectators. Students here are super involved. SJU has over 100 student clubs and organizations ranging from Greek life to Students for Peace and Justice. Service is one of the most popular activities. More than 400 students participate in Alternative Spring

Break in Appalachia each year (there’s a waiting list to get in!). And every week, more than 500 SJU students engage in service-learning or do volunteer work in Philadelphia.

for running the most popular Mass on campus (10:00 pm on Sundays – drop in if you’re around). sju.edu/service SJU is one of only 35 institutions to have AACSB accreditation, a Phi Beta Kappa chapter, and be on the President’s Community Service Honor Roll.

On campus, SJU students are leaders. They assist in academic departments, participate in student government, and are responsible

The Hawk will never die. TN

Get used to that phrase – because you’re going to hear it a lot. Athletics is another area where SJU students push themselves to do more. Take the Hawk mascot, for example. ESPN estimates that the Hawk flaps his wings 3,500 times per game – without ever stopping! SJU fields 20 NCAA Division I varsity teams that compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference and

the Philadelphia Big 5. Once you’ve experienced SJU basketball fans in Hagan Arena, you’ll never look at spectators the same way again! sju.edu/thwnd SJU’s NCAA Division I Sports Baseball (M) Rowing (M,W) Basketball (M,W) Soccer (M,W) Cross Country (M,W) Softball (W) Field Hockey (W) Tennis (M,W) Golf (M) Track, indoor (M,W) Lacrosse (M,W) Track, outdoor (M,W)
