Testimonials: 10
The Prime Minister of Jamaica, Hon. Andrew Holness (then Minister of Education) at the museum’s opening said: "I endorse this move and I must say from the bottom of my heart I respect this school," said Min. Holness. He also commended the school for documenting its "culture of excellence" for present and future generations, describing it as "the springboard on which they will leap to higher heights of excellence and success". Chairman of the school's board of management, Professor Barbara Bailey, expressed the hope that generations of students will contribute their artifacts and expertise to the museum, and thus pass on the rich legacy of the school to future students. Patron of the school's homecoming week Lady Hall, wife of former Governor General Sir Kenneth Hall and past student, in her remarks, noted that the standards of some schools had fallen because present students and administrators were "unaware of the reputation of the institution to which they had become heirs". She said the museum would help to ensure that no student is ever again is unaware of the school's history and contribution to Jamaica. Join us >> facebook.com/sahs.museum
