You’ll notice that we’ve revamped the style, to make it even easier to navigate, and the content now matches the running order of our order forms, making placing your order even more straightforward. We’ve got a huge amount of new kit to showcase this time around, so have a good look through! This is as good a place as any to reaffirm our commitment to you that we’ll support our new releases, and core product, with strong marketing that will drive footfall to your shop. A great example of this is our new-look free DVD. Rather than simply resting on our laurels, we’ve re-examined the concept and the first Carp Fishing Masterclass is the result. It’s a digital carp-fishing encyclopedia, packed with strong product information, delivered by the likes of Danny Fairbrass, Darrell Peck and Ali Hamidi in the form of detailed tactical advice, tips and hints. Our website continues to attract more and more traffic, along with our market-leading social media platforms and digital magazine, Thinking Tackle Digital. This elegant solution to an age-old problem came as a result of many, many months of painstaking development, endless sampling and rigorous testing. Quite simply, this little product is set to revolutionise helicopter-rig fishing, especially in weedy or snaggy waters. It allows the lead to be ejected from the leader or main line, which makes landing fish easier.
1. The Heli-Safety System can be used with the swivel still attached to the lead like this.
What’s more, If the angling situation does not require the lead to be dropped, a locking colar can be inserted into the clip which prevents it from opening. The clip can be used with leads with or without the swivel removed (see opposite), depending on the preference of the angler.
2. Alternatively, the swivel can be removed from the lead.

A purpose-designed safety clip designed to hold your lead on the cast, yet allow the lead to eject with ease should it become snagged during a fight.
These new clips have been designed to ensure rapid lead ejection in weedy or snaggy conditions. They are shorter in length and have been engineered with special grooves, which allow the Tail Rubber to slide off under minimal pressure.
Lead clips that have a size-eight Ring Swivel permanently molded into the body. Because the clip and swivel are inseparable, the lead will drop off every time it becomes snagged.

All the bits you need to construct a fully functioning lead clip system. Each pack contains five Lead Clips, Tail Rubbers, swivels and 2m of rig tube. Action Packs are available in the four Safe Zone colours.
Rig tubing that can be used with all lead systems in the Korda range. It helps to prevent tangles, gives added abrasion resistance to those crucial last couple of feet and comes in a range of colours to blend in with various lakebed conditions.
Tapered sleeves that fit snugly onto any Korda lead clip and keep the lead in place during casting. They are soft enough to push off and allow the lead to eject should the lead become snagged during a fight. The tail rubber also fits to the top of any Korda inline lead, forming a smooth join between the rig tube and the lead to prevent tangles.

The COG leads are supplied in bags of twenty five containing a mix of both brown and green coating. Two shapes are available, the Flat Swivel Pear and Flattened Distance Casting.
The COG System COG stands for Centre of Gravity. This lead system is so called because the rig is attached to the lead in the exact centre of gravity, ensuring that a fish picking the bait up hits the full weight of the lead immediately.

Danny Fairbrass has been using the system for some time and describes why it is so effective… “The COG turns far more pick ups into runs because the fish feels the FULL weight of the lead INSTANTLY. It turns a normal lead clip system into a more effective hooker than any other system. The Korda Lead Clip and special boom must be used with the correct COG lead. If the boom is too short the lead will sit/fly poorly, if it is too long it may cause tangles. I’d suggest using soluble foam, along with IQ or N-Trap coated hook links to prevent tangles.”

The introduction of the Kaptor range marked the next step in the evolution of the carp hook. A coloured PTFE coating allows these hooks to blend with the lakebed more effectively than any others. The special coating has been applied to all but the point of the hook, making the Kaptor range the sharpest hooks on the market. Every needle-sharp point is then ‘Kapped’ to prevent damage. The hooks are packed and clipped into a bespoke box for safe storage. This range is available in Wide Gape, Kurv Shank and Choddy patterns.

Fine-diameter, soft, silicone tubing that has a multitude of rig applications. It is often used to trap the hair to the hook shank, or short sections can be pushed over the hook eye to aid hooking when floater fishing.

IQ D-Rig One of the standout rig successes of the Underwater filming is now available as a ready-tied rig. Danny Fairbrass has been using this effective setup for some time now, fine-tuning each element to arrive at a rig that really is an excellent hooker of carp. Its construction does, however, include Dan’s tricky whipping knot, which can be tough to tie. That’s why we expect the ready-tied version to sell so well. Goo The Goo is a soak, a glug and a spod-mix additive, all rolled into one awesome package. The cloud of attraction that comes off bait treated with Goo has to be seen to be believed, and this is one of the attributes that makes the Goo so revolutionary. But it’s not the only one. The feeding triggers and flavour combinations housed in the mysterious liquids have been carefully tweaked to create the best and biggest feeding response. The Goo was developed by Loutjie Louwies in South Africa, where it has been used to great effect for many years, leading to the dominance of the South African national team in the FIPSed World Championships. The lads even gave England a beating in their own back yard, at Linear Fisheries, using the Goo. A few casts with the Power Smokes in your spod or on your PVA bags will create the most unique cloud of smell, taste and colour and simply send fish into a frenzy around the area of your hook bait. Our dedicated floater-fishing range includes all the bits needed to fish for carp on the surface such as specialist Mixa hooks, Kruiser Control line and of course, floats. We have innovated a patented design that allows the floats to be manufactured from one material. There are NO added lead weights, resulting in very quiet water entry and less dive on impact, this equals more fish on the bank for the angler.
This long-range controller has been designed to allow the weighty part of the float to be removed from the line and changed for another size without breaking down the end tackle.

Our first catapult is set to become the industry benchmark for reliability and fuss-free performance. We’ve launched two ‘pults – the Light Katapult and the Heavy Katapult. The Light version has our medium pouch and thicker elastic, whereas the Heavy model has a bigger pouch and thinner elastic. The key distinction is that the Heavy ‘pult is perfect for introducing lots of bait in a short time, up to roughly 60 yards. The Light ‘pult will put bait further, but holds less per pouch. Now for the clever bit. We all know that twisted elastic is one of the biggest frustrations when using a catapult, so the development team has engineered clever, rotating collars into the ends of the frame, which will eliminate twist. Individual pouches are available too, as are spare elastics. The small pouch is only available as a spare and is intended for introducing single boilies at long range.

Dark Matter Tubing has been designed to take rig tubing to the next level. It’s super supple to allow it to lay flush with the contours of the lake bed. High levels of tungsten give the tubing an elevated density, meaning it stays pinned to the bottom at all times.
So, it was just a matter of time before we created this range of super-heavy rig concealment products. The collection features tungsten rig tubing, tungsten putty and Kable leadcore. All will help make your end tackle even less visible than ever before.
Dark Matter Tubing is available in three colours, Weed Green, Gravel Brown and Silt. It’s easy to thread and fits all Korda tail rubbers and lead clips.

Dark Matter Tungsten Putty Dark Matter Rig Putty is the densest putty available. This is achieved through the use of high levels of super-heavy tungsten granules. It remains stable over a whole range of temperatures and is extremely easy to shape and mould. It can be used to counterbalance pop-ups or pin down other rig components. Dark Matter putty is available in Weed Green and Gravel Brown. You can even blend the two colours for the ultimate camou finish!

Kable Leadcore - 7m & 25m spools Kable leadcore has been designed to be the toughest and best camouflaged leadcore available. Korda realised that to truly camouflage a leadcore leader, breaking up its outline was the way forward. So, the development team designed a banded pattern of subtle colour changes to do just that. Although it has a spliced breaking strain in excess of 50lb, Kable is limp enough to drape across underwater terrain unobtrusively and keep your line concealed in the area of the rig. Kable is available in two unique colour combinations - Weed/Silt and Gravel Brown and on 7m and 25m bulk spools.

Stows are indicators that allow unparalleled sensitivity when using slack or tight lines. Korda acquired the rights to the design from Carl Pashley, the originator of the Elstow bobbins, because we thought that the concept truly represented a step forward in indicator design. The specially configured line clip helps transmit any line movement into positive indications that help you to understand what’s happening at the rig end – Stows are particularly good at picking up line bites. The bobbins are available as ready-to-go systems, or as separate, interchangeable components. This means that the systems can be bought off the peg, or built to personal preference. The Stow system can be used with ALL alarms (with the exception of ATTs), and two sizes of extension ensure that they perform as well with larger alarms like Delkims as they do with smaller, Neville-size ones. Both types of chain are supplied with the complete kits or are available separately, in silver and black. Stows are super versatile also, because they’re incredibly light without added weights, yet they can be loaded up to 12g for range fishing, using the Overweights. To help keep the bobbins safe and undamaged, we’ve produced the Stowaway magnetic cases to house them. Not only are they the most sensitive bobbins on the market, the Stows are certainly the coolest also. It’s hard to imagine a better-looking bobbin!
