The first entry of Paul de T.anierie in the mark-book of the Goldsmiths' Hall occurs in 1712, Avhen lie resided at the Golden Ball, in "Windmill Street, in the Haymarket. In 1739 he removed to Garrard Street or Gerard Street, Soho. His mark np to 1732 was L. A. ciouned. In 1733 it was altered to P. L. crowned for the Old Standard.
