Ethernet-based IP technology is used in Raytheon’s SSDS Mk 2 (Ship Self-Defense System) program, which can be found on ships such as the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Raytheon uses Performance Technologies’ Advanced Managed Platform IP-comms platform to provide an IP-based networking platform for the SSDS system.
