Witchcraft has found its way into the modern church. While Wiccans call on the four elements, misled so-called Christians believe that by surrounding themselves with positive people and speaking positive affirmations they, too, can manipulate forces to, “have their best life now.” Today, entire congregations are standing in circles holding hands and
facing certain directions to “harness” the power of God. They are oblivious to the irony of how these practices are no different than drawing circles and chanting phrases or casting spells. In fact, I would go so far as to say that most of the post-modern church has been hijacked by the occult, particularly in the new nondenominational churches where little scripture is taught by pastors who have adopted the methods and buzz words of Scientology and New Age philosophers.
