Nathan and Chlorinda Tucker, Ukiah, CA, watched a program on the Disney Channel on biomass in fuels that featured a Defender. Jason Sheehy, Mt. Sterling, OH, spotted buff females sporting their biceps in front of a Discovery II

article on its website, “The Africa I Know Isn’t in the News,” with a Series 109” as its lead photo, noted Andy Derousseau, Rogers, AR. Chris Ray, Canal Winchester, OH, enjoyed seeing a Range Rover Classic in a scene from The Goldbergs. Jeffrey Murkai, Mercer, ME, Abel Villeseca, Albuquerque, NM and Jerry Tiedeman [see Rule #6] noted the RRC in Archer. Abel also spotted a Defender in a commercial for a medical mission in Haiti during a 12 Monkeys episode. Chris Ray, John Bufton, Galveston, TX and Jim Kochenderfer [see Rule #6] also spotted a Defender 90 in an episode of Last Man Standing. Bill Hinsley, Seattle, WA, noted David Beckham driving a Land Rover up to Scotland for a Haig Club commercial. Brian Jones, Raleigh, NC, spotted a Series I used in a Firestone and Walker Brewing Co. ad, as well as a Defender 110 on the first episode of The Librarians. In unusual Sightings, Kyle Stearns, Warwick, RI, sent in a photo of a Defender 110 in transit aboard a merchant ship; we wonder where it was heading? Vince Chin [see Rule #6] spotted a “perfectly good” Series Rover bumper being cut

on a Yahoo homepage. Scott Just was reading a story on McMurdo Sound in Antarctica to his fourth grade class when he spotted the Series I in the Time For Kids book. We’ve mentioned these Sightings before, but we want to credit Yon Nunez, Littleton, CO and William Hutchings, Wilmington, NC, for their Eddie Bauer store posters. Rob Dixon, Reston, VA, spotted the Defenders in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Kevin Howard, Atlanta, GA, enjoyed finding a Series Land Rover when he watched Smokey and the Bandit. Chris Ray, Canal Winchester, OH, noted a Series Rover on a Gander Mountain poster. ///
