Beginning last spring, Les Parker of Rovers North received the difficult task of finding a replacement engine as well as many parts unique to the truck cab pickup. It took intrepid detective work and many phone calls to secure the NOS and hard-to-find parts for the extensive rebuild. Les sourced an engine in North Carolina and Rovers North sent the parts for its rebuild; the engine is under testing as we go to press. While the frame and bulkhead resisted the tropical air effectively, the Rover required the usual assortment of suspension, axle and brake system components. A rear tub, inner and outer fenders and interior trim have also been shipped from Vermont to Jamaica.
