CROSS DISCIPLINARY PEER LEARNING USING ICT 2014-2016


Peer learning Peer learning is defined as students teaching/communicating knowledge to students at the same level which establishes learning at a deeper level. Students becomes jointly responsible for their own learning. Key words are collaboration, support, reflection, critical thinking and feedback. ICT methods will be used to facilitate peer learning.


The rationale for the project is to use ICT based peer learning to modernize teaching methods in the schools by; 1. Improving student and teacher literacy. 2. Creating local sources of ICT based pedagogical resources. 3. Creating a uniform digital learning environment within the schools. 4. Teach students to take responsibility for their learning.


WHY? Peer learning is active!


CONTENT 1. Promoting computer literacy and safe behaviour online. 2. Promoting intercultural awareness. 3. Promoting creativity and entrepreneurship. 4. Promoting Linguistic skills.
