Meet Our Staff! Kia Soden-Aquatics Programming Kia Soden is a certified group fitness instructor through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). Graduating from Missouri State University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Movement Science, Kia is very passionate about health and fitness. Kia is also a certified Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program Leader. In addition to fitness, Kia also really enjoys working in the aquatics department. She is the new aquatic programming specialist and really enjoys helping people learn to swim. In her free time, Kia is an outdoor enthusiast and her favorite hobbies include rock climbing with her husband and practicing yoga. Come join Kia in one of her classes, including strength and stability, senior stretch, senior fit, GlideFit, or water fitness! She’d love to meet you and work with you!

Emily Gamble-Dance Instructor Emily Gamble is our new dance instructor, bringing so many skills and unique classes back to The Centre. So far, Emily has taught Swing, Beginner Adult Ballet, and Toddler and Me Dance classes. She truly enjoys the span of ages that she gets to work with as she believes you're never too young or too old to start dancing. Emily has even performed two shows with Weird Al Yankovic! Emily loves empowering people to feel more comfortable in their bodies. "We all have the inclination to dance when we're babies, but often when we grow older, we start to care about what others think and embarrassment sets in. I love teaching people skills to be confident in their natural movement and break free from embarrassment." With her 15 minutes of fame, Emily would be gracious, honest, and calm. She'd be open about how she arrived where she was, spend a lot of time thanking people, and if she made any money, she would donate to a cause she cared about. Check with the Front Desk for Emily's current class schedule!
